Memories...

Just for Memories...reflections of the past...and maybe a little odds and ends...

My mom had 5 siblings. She was in the middle. There was Milo, Helen, Bobby, then mom, (Louise), Rita, and finally Jean. the first three were older when mom came along and then aunt rita was a few months apart from mom, so they were close,, and later came the baby (Geneva).

The reason I''m telling this is that my aunt Helen and aunt Jean were the only ones left out of the brothers and sisters and my aunt Helen passed away just a couple of hours ago at 84. Now it leaves aunt Jean as the only survivng member of her family.. How hard that has got to be. I was an only child so I wont have to go through that lose. Jean has been through the lose of her mom, step-dad ,husband and each sibling. And today she called me to have me pray for her to go through this. GOD answered that prayer, we prayed he would give her that "Peace that passes all understanding" and help her to let go so GOD could do what needed to be done.

Through these loses I have seen a strenght in her growing with each one. and I know the Bible is true when it says we grow through our trials. My prayer is that God with continue to give her the strenght to go through the days ahead. with all the preparations. I wish I could be with her. but can't and I know that God is .
