What a wonderful weekend...
What a wonderful weekend we just had. Our friends, Judy and Ramon, from Turlock came up for a night and went to church with us on Sunday and we talked them into staying another night. The weather was great so we were able to be outside. Judy and I went for a walk.
I wrote about my friend a while back and how much stuff we did together when we had little kids. We have been friends now for 35 years. we are more like close sisters. We each had hard times growing up and have been through alot but we both realize that is what made us the people that we are and I believe that is what makes us soul-mates.
sunday our pastor talked about having real Peace, as he talked I thought that my "peace "comes from Forgiveness. My friend and I talked about our pass this weekend and we talked about how forgiveness of the ones that hurt us is the only way to get through our lives to grow . How do you look at someone who abuses you either physically or mentally and have forgiveness? Only through GOD. He tells us to let go of our hurt and give it to him and HE willl take care of it. Only then does the healing begin in our lives and we can soar with wings as Eagles.

It's nice to reminisce with a friend. Sometimes doing something over much later (reminiscing) is more fun and rewarding than it was doing it the first time!
Gail Ramon and I had a wonderful weekend and glad you talked us into staying another day we might not heard Vern sing. It was great fun and both of us injoyed going to chrurh with you both . We hope to do a repeat soon. How great it is to be with people who understand we have made mistakes and treat us like we matter and care how life can hand you the bitter with the good and you are the sugar that sweetens it .
