Wow it is already Jan 13th 2011. it seems that I just put the Christmas stuff away and here we go with a new year.
Today I want to talk about our grown kids. When they are born you bring them home and are scared to death your gonna make a mistake and mess them up or hurt them. Finally you get use to the fact that they are stronger then they look and the fun begins. playing with them, talking baby talk, gaga googoo and tickle them till they get the hic ups and u can't wait for them to get big enough to interact with you.
They are like little sponges and soak in everything around them. Mom spends 95% of the time with them changing diapers and feeding etc and the first word out of their mouth is dada. Hum! what's with that? ]
You walk them to school that first day of kindergarten and cry when they go inside to a world without u. From there they go through all the stages of life it takes for them to grow into the person they are going to be. Sometimes they goof up sometimes they get hurt, but mom is always there to pick up the pieces.

They go through stages where mom is the hero and then as they become teens we' are dumber then dirt. That's when things in life begin to really get to them and it takes awhile before they realize mom wasn't so dumb after all. It is normal for them to go through these stages.
As they become spouses and parents they find out that they also will make mistakes, nothing that is intentional (as our mistakes were not intentional )but that's how we grow. Life comes around in a full circle as they learn to forgive and love us and we have to remember that is part of the circle.

God told me once that He gave me my kids to raise and nurture and at some point I was suppose to give them back so He could shape and mold them into the people they were meant to be. But I had a hard time cause everytime they hurt I tried to save them instead of trusting GOD to do His job. LET THEM GO AND LET GOD DO HIS JOB, believe me He knows what He's doing.
